EmoTAZ 08 takes place February 21-24, 2008 near Maple Ridge, BC, a 90-minute drive from downtown Vancouver. The EmoMen are brewing up a great event. Will you be joining us?
The EmoMen develop healthy relationships between men through workshops, creative projects, contact and unmediated experiential communication in a temporary autonomous zone. This year, we will bring courage to our choices as we mindfully engage with the group.
Respectful of our boundaries and accepting of our reactivity, the challenge is to meet each other further, deeper, farther in the TAZ experience.
"Sometimes I have wondered whether someone would make a good EmoMan?
But after this EmoTAZ I realized that this question is deeply flawed, for it does not consider that EmoTAZ is a truly transformational event." - a past participant
PARTICIPATION
Past EmoTAZ participants who have not become members of Tazopia must have an Advocate. An Advocate is someone who is a member of Tazopia who will vouch for you, answer your questions, and support your experience at EmoTAZ. If you know who will be an Advocate for you, ask them to contact Nexus or Fasty to help get you signed up.If you dont have an Advocate, read the Can I join you page on the website, and follow the dots.
Attendance from Thursday evening to Sunday noon is required to realize the intention of the event. All participants attend pre- or post-dinner meetings, called Circles, for important information sharing.
Workshop and project proposals are being accepted now, and will be announced in January. This event is created by everyone who attends, and volunteer opportunities will be on the website soon.
You can opt to arrive one day early for setup and informal time on the lake, in the cabin, lake or discovering the woods.
"Thank you for the great music, and thank you for this opportunity.
It continues to move me." - a past participant
